‘Dolton Dictator’ Tiffany Henyard, boyfriend Kamal Woods sued for attacking freedom of speech

Mayor Tiffany Henniard, “Dalton Dictor,” and her boyfriend, are being sued by two men who claim they were attacked for expressing their First Amendment rights during a brawl that erupted at City Hall last month.

The scrutinized mayor of Dalton, Illinois and her boyfriend Kamal Woods have been accused of attacking activists Jededia Brown and Lovell Redmond at a January 28 meeting in Thornton Township .

Videos of the wild flock captured a chaotic moment that flares up in the tournament hall after Brown delivered an explanatory rant directed at Henniard, who is also the town of Thornton.

During his allotted time during public comments, Brown called Henard “Half Aed Mayor” and claimed he slept on top before he made an informal vote to remove the self-proclaimed “super mayor.”

“You've become a bitch,” Brown said as other residents cheered.

Woods allegedly attacked activists when he left the microphone as a violent fight exploded inside a government building in South Holland, Illinois.

Brown alleges that Woods, a Thorntown employee, called him a “bitches” and threatened to hurt him, according to a federal lawsuit. Retrieved by FOX 32.

Brown and Redmond insisted on Woods and Dalton employee DeMarcus Crigley and were given “green light” to attack them.

The lawsuit alleges Woods pushed Redmond, and after Redmond threw a punch in self-defense, a town employee was “tugged” to the ground saying “a brawl happened.”

Henyard is said to hit both Redmond and Brown with the microphone and hit brown on his head and back.

Along with “super mayor” and her view, the man sues Thornton Township employees, Dalton employees, South Holland police and private security company Allpoints Security and Detective Inc.

The man claims that meeting officials and security guards were supposed to be preventing the fight from breaking out, but he did not.

After being taken from the meeting, Brown claims that he was put in another room where he was attacked again.

A Cook County resident accused two civilian guards of throwing him into a closed room where he “slaps on the elbow” for a minute and a half, “blazing on the elbow and slap on the elbow.” I struggled.

An unidentified Thornton employee is said to have ravaged the private room and then raided the browns at the back of his neck.

Brown says he lost three veneers and suffered injuries to his face, abdomen, elbows and back during the brawl.

The defendant is also charged with violations of due process, battery, attack, negligence and infringement of intentional emotional distress.

Both men seek trial by ju-degree judges in civil lawsuits, paying Brown's medical costs and treatment, his emotional distress/pain and suffering, and “compensatory damages” to pay the value of one new mobile phone Redmond is seeking private amounts against him, losing during a brawl.

Woods, who ran Thornton's Ewttownship Program, took administrative leave along with William Moore (another ally of Enard) at a meeting on January 28th.

The Thornton Township Committee voted to fire both the Woods and Moore for its role in the February 6th board battle. CBS Chicago reported.
