Recently, during his first major performance since canceling, Glover opened up about the true severity of his health situation. While performing at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Frog Gnaw Festival, he took a moment to share that he had been suffering from intense pain and vision issues while on tour.

He recounted, “I had a really bad headache in Louisiana, but I went on the show anyway. My eyesight wasn’t very good, so when I went to Houston, I went to the hospital, and the doctor said, ‘You’re having a stroke.’ My first thought was, ‘I’m letting everyone down,’” he joked, noting that humor helped him cope with the fear of the situation.

Things complicating his health woes didn’t stop there. “I broke my leg… They discovered there was a hole in my heart… So I had this surgery, and I had to have surgery again,” he explained, revealing the sequence of frightening events that unfolded.
