Former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are scheduled to debate in Atlanta, Georgia, in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election.
The debate will air on CNN at 9pm ET. Features There will be no spectator and all microphones will be muted except for the candidate who is speaking.
This will be the first time that the debate will not be hosted by the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates, and it will also be the earliest presidential debate in modern history, as neither candidate has been formally nominated by their respective parties.
Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. get a qualification In lieu of a debate, RFK Jr. will be having his own debate with John Stossel.
CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the debate.
CNN political director David Chalian insisted that Tapper and Bash “intend to focus on facilitating the debate among the candidates and will not participate in the debate.”
