Joe Biden is trailing Donald Trump in Virginia.
According to an Emerson College Poll/The Hill poll, Donald Trump has 45% approval in Virginia, while Biden has 43%.
President Biden is trailing former President Trump in Virginia within the margin of error, according to the latest Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey released Thursday.
The poll found that 45% of Virginia voters support Trump and 43% support Biden. Eleven percent of voters said they were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
“The president is now essentially tied with Trump in states Biden won by 10 points in 2020,” said Spencer Kimball, executive director of the Emerson College Poll. “Independents are split with Trump 46% to 38%, a demographic Biden won by double-digit margins in 2020.”
