Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris with Arab voters: poll

Former President Donald Trump has a narrow lead over Vice President Kamala Harris among Arab voters nationwide, according to recent polls.

According to polls conducted by Arab News and YouGov states, Mr. Trump is supported by 45% of Arab voters, Mr. Harris is supported by 43% and Jill Stein is supported by 8%.

4% of Arab voters voted for Jill Stein, 6% said they were undecided and 2% said they did not want to reveal who they would support in this election.

When asked which candidate is most likely to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Trump's lead widens to 6 points, with 39% of respondents believing Trump is likely to bring peace to the region. Only 33% of people said it was too expensive and thought Harris could solve the problem.

A plurality of respondents believe that Harris is “more sensitive to the national needs and issues of Arab Americans,” with 39% saying she is and 31% saying that Trump is more sensitive. I answered that I am sensitive.

Hamas has struggled to gain support from Arab Americans as the Biden administration supports Israel in its war against Hamas.

In August, the Muslim Women for Harris Waltz withdrew its support and disbanded after a Palestinian delegate was denied a speaking slot at the Democratic National Convention.

“Given new information from the No Commitment Movement that Vice President Harris' team has denied a request to have a Palestinian-American speaker at the DNC, we in good conscience want to support Harris Walz. “We cannot continue to support Muslim women in this country,” said a Muslim woman. Because Harris Walz said in a statement at the time:

In 2020, President Biden is thought to have won 60% of the Arab vote.

A poll released by the Arab American Association in October showed Trump leading Harris among Arab voters, 46% to 42%.

Michigan is a battleground state where Arabs are a major voting group and seen by many as critical to Harris' path to the White House.

Mr. Trump recently won the support of Amer Gharib, the first Muslim mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan.

“I believe he is the right choice at this critical time,” he said.

The former president has criticized Harris for campaigning with former congressmen. Liz Cheney is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, the architect of the Iraq War.

“Lying Kamala has stooped so low that he chooses a woman who lost a Congressional election by a record 40% margin to campaign with him. The record holder is rabid warhawk Liz Cheney. So, his father Dick convinced Bush to go to the Middle East and kill him. Now, does Kamala want Arabs to vote for her? I don't think so! President Trump posted on Truth Social.
