While Donald Trump no longer sees Joe Biden as a rival in elections, he still sees him as a rival on the golf course.
Two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau on Tuesday I posted a video He played golf with the 45th President at Trump’s Bedminster course in New Jersey.
Playing from the red tee on the par-3 second hole, Trump hit his tee shot onto the green and immediately began celebrating.
“You think Biden could do that? I don’t know. We’ve argued about golf. Can you believe that?” Trump asked.
“I don’t know if Bryson can do that,” a voice said from behind me.
DeChambeau’s YouTube series “Breaking 50” will see LIV golfers and guests play from the ladies’ red tees in a best-ball format and attempt to break records over 18 holes.
The 56-minute video ends with Trump making a crucial putt to finish his round at 50, or 22 under par.
Trump also claimed to have made eight holes-in-one in his career.
When Trump and Biden debated in late June, the two clashed sharply over their respective golf games.
It began with Trump being questioned by CNN host Dana Bash about his fitness to be president.
“I’ve had my annual medical check-ups…I’m in great health. I just won two regular club championships, not the senior ones,” Trump said.
“You have to be pretty smart to do that, you have to hit the ball far, and I can do that. He can’t do that. He can’t hit the ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a game of golf. He can’t hit the ball 50 yards.
“I feel very good. I feel as good as I did 25, 30 years ago. In fact, I may have lost a little bit of weight, but I feel as good as I did many years ago. I feel great. Just like I did before.”
After all, Biden claimed he could beat Trump at golf.
“I’d love to have a driving contest with him. I got my handicap down to six when I was vice president,” Biden said.
“By the way, I told you before that I’d be happy to play golf if you carried your own bag. Do you think that’s possible?”

Trump responded, “The biggest lie is that he’s a six handicap.”
“My handicap was eight,” Biden said.
Trump didn’t believe him: “I’ve seen your swing, I know your swing.”
DeChambeau then offered to set the two up against each other on his YouTube channel.
Earlier this week, DeChambeau He stressed that the event was for charity. He and Trump will each donate $10,000 for every stroke under par to raise funds for the Wounded Warriors Project.
“To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation’s veterans, not politics. A few weeks ago I reached out to presidential campaigns from both parties and @realDonaldTrump accepted the challenge,” DeChambeau wrote to X on Monday.
“It’s an incredible honor to have the opportunity to play golf with a sitting and former president. A round of Blake 50 is open to everyone at any time.”
Joe Biden ultimately withdrew from the presidential race on Sunday, largely due to his performance in a debate with President Trump, likely paving the way for Vice President Kamala Harris to face off against President Trump in November.
As social media users began to react, DeChambeau clarified that the video was filmed before the assassination attempt on President Trump in Pennsylvania on July 13.
“To deny speculation and confirm the facts, the Break 50 video (with Trump) was filmed the first week of July before my international trip and before the incident in Butler, PA occurred,” DeChambeau tweeted.
