The latest data from Suffolk University shows former President Donald Trump continues to hold the lead in Iowa, just days before the much-anticipated Iowa caucuses.
According to the poll, Trump has the lead in the Republican primary with support from 54% of likely Iowa caucus attendees. Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has an approval rating of 20%, 34 points behind her, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has an approval rating of 13%, 7 points behind Haley.
Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy came in fourth with 6% support, followed by former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who withdrew from the race, with 2% support.
Even without Christie, Trump still leads the Republican primary with 54% support. However, Haley sees a boost as her approval rating rose two points, from 20% to 22%. DeSantis and Ramaswamy remain unchanged at 13 percent and 6 percent, respectively.

Furthermore, the survey showed that Trump had a favorable rating of 73%, compared to 49% for Haley and 58% for DeSantis.
The survey was conducted from January 6th to 10th, 2024 among 500 potential Iowa Republican caucus attendees. It has a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percentage points and is released four days before the Iowa caucuses. All eyes are on the state because no Republican candidate has ever won a caucus by more than 12 points. But Iowa Attorney General Brenna Byrd (R) predicts a “historic” victory for Trump this time.
“His rallies are packed and the whole state is filled with enthusiasm. You know, the caucuses are a little over a week away, so it's never far away,” Byrd said on a recent appearance on the show. Breitbart News Saturday.
“I predict a historic caucus victory for President Trump,” she predicted. “The biggest Republican victory in the Iowa caucuses was 12 points all the way back in 1988.”
“That's a huge win. Anything over 10 points is really considered a blowout. And now President Trump has a lead of maybe 30 points. That's really incredible. It's unprecedented. It's historic. That's it,” she added.
Mr. DeSantis and Ms. Haley took part in a debate Wednesday evening ahead of the Iowa caucuses, which included a portion of the discussion during which Ms. Christie gave a passionate speech on the microphone as she left the room, and Ms. Haley said she was “smoked.” His shadow has been overshadowed by people calling him “petrified.''
