Former President Donald Trump on Thursday accused President Joe Biden of going along with the Charlottesville hoax.
On Tuesday, a reporter asked Biden if he condemned the “anti-Semitic protests” taking place on college campuses, and Biden said he condemned the protests. “That’s why I put together a program to deal with it,” he said.
“I also blame those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” Biden added.
Biden equated protests with people who “don’t understand” Palestinians, and whether Biden is repeating media coverage of Trump’s debunked Charlottesville comments in 2017 This raised the question.
Before leaving the Manhattan courthouse on Thursday, Mr. Trump accused Mr. Biden of incompetence. “This person shouldn’t be doing what he’s doing,” Trump said of Biden.
“Protests are happening all over the place,” he said of pro-Gaza demonstrations on university campuses.
“He was talking about Charlottesville,” Trump told reporters. “Charlottesville was a bit of a peanut and nothing compared to the hate here. This is tremendous hate and there’s a guy who can’t talk about it.”
Trump added: “He has no idea how to send a message.” “He can’t speak. He can’t put his two sentences together. He doesn’t know what to do.”
On Wednesday, Trump slammed Biden, who claimed he ran for president in 2020 because of the Charlottesville hoax, said on Truth Social:
Cynical Joe Biden has always said he ran for Charlottesville. If so, then he did a really bad job. Because Charlottesville is peanuts compared to the riots and anti-Israel protests happening across this country right now. And it’s Crooked’s fault. I get the wrong message every time. The fact is that crooked Joe Biden hates Israel and hates Jews. The problem is that he hates Palestinians even more and doesn’t know what to do!
