Trump played a role in nominating the Supreme Court justices who ultimately overturned the ruling. Roe v. Wade their Dobbs decision — Revealed its official position on abortion in April, taking a federalist approach and concluding that abortion should be left to the discretion of the states.

“This is all about the will of the people. You have to follow your heart, or in many cases your religion or your faith. Do what’s right for your family, do what’s right for you,” Trump said at the time. “Do what’s right for your kids. Do what’s right for your country and vote.” [it’s] “Voting is very important. “The Supreme Court decision basically gave this back to the states where it belongs, and that’s what we need to focus on,” he said. … He said that when you talk about this, you know, this is going to be a disadvantage and there are going to be people who are going to be in fierce competition. “This is something that opponents are going to try to use in their campaigns,” he said, warning Republicans that the left “will try to paint you as extremists.”

“We are not the extremists. They are the extremists. They are the ones who are OK.” [with] “You’re basically killing the baby right up until the moment of birth,” Jackson said, relaying the conversation.

“And in some cases, even after they’re born, as we saw with the former governor of Virginia,” he said, referring to former Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

“You’re willing to let a child die if the mother doesn’t want it. It’s ridiculous. It’s outright murder. Right? [S]”They’re extremists,” he said, adding, “They glorify abortion.”

“And they condone abortion up until the moment of birth. Think about it. That’s a fully formed baby taking its first breath, and they [with] “That’s what you get for putting a musical instrument through someone’s head and killing them. That’s what Democrats are. They’re extremists. It’s terrible. The American people don’t stand for that,” Jackson continued, explaining that Trump said Republicans should be talking about these realities.

“He said … don’t run away from the issues. Don’t run away from the abortion issue. Stand up to it. Talk about it,” he said.

“He basically told Republicans to use their common sense, to go out and not run from this, to tell the reality of it. Don’t let them create the narrative, don’t let them paint you with their brush,” Jackson added, noting that Trump also acknowledges that this is a very important issue in many parts of the country.

“Republicans will win if they tell the reality of the issue, not how the left is trying to portray it. That was his argument,” the congressman added.
