Donald Trump Speaks to D-Day Veterans from His Plane as Joe Biden Dodders in Normandy

Former President Donald Trump spoke with four Normandy landings veterans from a plane, he said in a Truth Social post on Thursday.

“Had the honor of speaking with four incredible Normandy landing heroes on a plane to Arizona – Donald Cobb, Steve Melnikov, George Cross and Harold Radish. Love you all. See you at the White House! – DJT,” he posted, using his initials to indicate he posted the message personally.

One of the veterans thanked Trump, to which Trump replied, “It’s an honor to hear your story. It’s a real honor.”

“You have all the time you need, and I hope you can hear me,” Trump added, as veterans were heard urging him to “stay healthy” and fight the “good fight” in November.

Trump responded, “I want to thank you all, and I’ll make a deal with you all. I’ll see you at the White House in January. You guys are my first group. I’ll see you at the White House in January, okay?”

Trump also posted on Truth Social.

Today we honor the immortal heroes who landed at Normandy 80 years ago. The soldiers of D-Day will forever live in history as some of the bravest, noblest and greatest Americans who have ever lived on earth. They shed their blood, and by thousands gave their lives, in defense of American freedom. They are and always will be in our hearts.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden was the target of ridicule from online critics earlier in the day after appearing to sit in a non-existent chair during a ceremony to commemorate the Normandy landings in Normandy, France, and after being escorted off stage by Jill Biden while French President Emmanuel Macron was alone greeting Normandy landings veterans.
