Former President Trump attended the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
Photos from the event showed the Republican presidential candidate walking around the paddock, visiting the McLaren team garage and waving to passersby.
Steve Witkoff reportedly supports Trump planned a fundraising event However, those plans were scrapped by race organizer and Miami Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel.
“Political campaigns have their place, but it’s not our election. We welcome you and your guests to attend our events and enjoy your suite. However, We respectfully request that this be done in accordance with a very clear licensing agreement,” race organizers wrote in a letter to Witkoff, first reported by radio host Andy Slater.

Trump was in Florida over the weekend for the Republican National Committee’s spring meeting, which was seen primarily as an audition for his 2024 running mate. The guest list includes South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R), North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum (R), Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance (R), House Republicans, and other shortlisted candidates. Many of the people rumored to be included were included. Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (RN.Y.), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Rep. Byron Donald (R-Fla.), and Sen. Tim Scott (R.C.).
