Donald Trump Thanks Chiefs Wife Brittany Mahomes For ‘So Strongly Defending’ Him On Social Media

45Number President Donald Trump thanked Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, for her “forceful defense” of him in a post on Truth Social on Wednesday.

Trump's thanks came after social media users noticed Brittany “liking” pro-Trump posts, leading to her being criticised for taking a pro-Republican stance.
The social media frenzy included Brittany liking some of Donald Trump's Instagram posts and comments like “Trump Vance 2024” and “I'm glad you're not backing down. We are all entitled to our opinions and should not be intimidated into giving in.”
“I want to thank the beautiful Brittany Mahomes for her strong defense of me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful political movement in the history of our country which is now on the verge of ruin. With crime and illegal immigration totally out of control, inflation hitting all over the US, and the world laughing at the stupidity of our hapless 'leaders', it's good to know there are people out there who love our country and want to save it from ruin. What a great couple. See you at the Super Bowl!” Trump declared at Truth Social.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes has not revealed his political leanings and prefers to keep his personal views private.
“I don't want to pressure anybody to vote for a particular president,” the football player said. “No matter who you believe, I want people to speak up. I want people to investigate.”
Earlier this week, Brittany reposted the comments, strengthening her beliefs and responding to the backlash without adding fuel to the fire.
“Contrary to the mood of the world today, you can disagree with someone and still love them. You can disagree and still be kind,” preacher Shane Pruitt wrote, which Brittany reposted.
Many have also speculated that there may be some rift between Brittany and her A-list best friend, Taylor Swift, a staunch liberal who is currently dating Chiefs player Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes' teammate.
The pair have often been spotted together in the box seats at Chiefs games, cheering on their partners.
Both Swift and Kelsey are known to support Democratic candidates, which sparked speculation that there was rift between Swift and Brittany, but sources claim the pair have decided not to talk about politics to protect their friendship.
“Taylor won't be included in this anti-Brittany narrative because they've made a pact not to discuss politics,” the insider said. Daily Mail.
Swift and Brittany Mahomes are also expected to sit together at the Chiefs' first game of the new NFL season on Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium.
