Donald Trump Threatens Nikki Haley Donors with Exile from MAGA

Former Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump announced Thursday that donors continue to donate to Nikki Haley's presidential campaign following her victory in New Hampshire's Republican primary this week. threatened to expel him from the MAGA camp.

He posted on Truth Social:

Nikki 'Birdbrain' Haley is very bad for the Republican Party and indeed for our country. Her false statements, derogatory comments, and humiliating public losses are humiliating to true American patriots. Her anger should be directed at her third-rate political consultants and, more importantly, the crooked Joe Biden and those who are destroying our country, not those who are trying to save it. I knew Nikki well, and she was average at best, not the kind of person to play against world leaders, and she never was. It's up to me and that's why they respected America. When I ran for office and won, I noticed that the losing candidates' “donors” immediately came to me and wanted to “help.” This is standard in the political world, but it no longer applies to me. Anyone who has “contributed” to Birdbrain will be permanently banned from the MAGA camp from this moment on. We don't want them, we won't accept them, and we never will, because we put America first!

On Wednesday, Democratic billionaire donor Reid Hoffman suspended donations to Haley, according to CNBC. Haley is the first donor to reduce support after the New Hampshire primary.

After Trump won both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary, more Republicans are supporting the former president.

Fellow Republican presidential candidates Vivek Ramaswami and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced their support for Trump and withdrew from the race following his victory in Iowa.

And more Republican senators have rushed to support Trump in recent days, including Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas), Deb Fischer (Nebraska) and John Kennedy (Louisiana). Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, who endorsed Trump in April, called on Haley to resign.

But with the next major primary in South Carolina just around the corner, Haley is resisting calls to withdraw. Trump is expected to beat Haley in his home state, and if he does, there will be increased pressure on him to withdraw.
