Former President Donald Trump is trailing President Joe Biden by double digits in a national approval rating showdown, according to a survey released Friday by Rasmussen Reports.
The survey showed Trump leading Biden by 10 points in races that also included third-party candidates.
Trump received 46 percent of the support, followed by Biden with 36 percent, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with 9 percent, independent candidate Cornel West with 2 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein with 1 percent.
In head-to-head races, Trump leads Biden by nine points (49 percent to Biden’s 40 percent).
The survey was conducted among 1,000 voters on June 20 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The survey follows a May poll by Rasmussen Reports that found a majority of Democrats (54%) want to replace Biden with another candidate from their own party.

Rasmussen polled 1,113 voters between May 20 and 22, asking a very straightforward question: “Do you support or oppose the Democratic Party finding a candidate to replace Joe Biden before the November election?” While only 49% of all people surveyed said they supported it, that number jumped to 54% among Democrats.
Only 43% of Republicans agreed.
You can see why: Democrats are panicking because they look at the polls and see four more years of Donald Trump continuing to prove all their ideas are stupid. When it comes to Biden, he’s proven all their ideas were terrible, so they want to dump him and blame their policy failures on him instead of their bad ideas.
The survey is consistent with another poll by Rasmussen Reports, which found 57 percent of voters believe Biden’s mental decline is real.
The move comes as the Biden White House is reeling from a series of viral videos suggesting Biden’s cognitive decline, which the Biden White House has said are inaccurate, a claim the Trump campaign has disputed.

“The truth is painful,” Trump campaign communications director Stephen Chang told Breitbart News. “When faced with that cold, hard reality, the Biden campaign makes the ridiculous claim that anyone who is clearly acting like Biden is a brain-dead idiot is part of a media-wide conspiracy,” Chang said.
“This is what happens when junior staffers and interns are put in charge of Biden’s campaign strategy for a candidate who can barely walk or talk,” he added.
