President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to overhaul the “Democrat-controlled” Justice Department after President Biden pardoned his troubled son Hunter on Sunday.
“The failed witch hunt against President Trump shows that the Democratic-controlled Justice Department and other radical prosecutors are guilty of weaponizing the justice system,” Trump's press secretary Stephen Chan said in a statement. I have proven that.”

Chung did not mention Biden or Hunter in the wake of the controversial pardons.
Mr. Hunter, 54, was scheduled to be sentenced later this month in separate federal firearms and tax evasion cases, but has now been spared a sentence.
