Former President Trump was among the many celebrities who descended on South Beach for the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
The 45th president and 2024 Republican presidential candidate was seen waving and saluting fans during the national anthem before the start of the third annual Grand Prix.
President Trump was also seen walking through the stadium tunnel and taking time to greet the media as he walked through the venue.

Trump’s deputy communications director, Margo Martin, shared videos of Trump with X, including one of Trump arriving in the pit lane outside the McLaren Racing garage. The crowd could be seen chanting “USA”.
As the race began, Martin wore Trump’s signature red “Make America Great Again” hat and showed Trump staring out at the racetrack.

Trump was just one of many celebrities attending the F1 race in Miami, with celebrities including Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Patrick Mahomes in attendance.
Tom Garfinkel, CEO of the Miami Dolphins and managing general partner of the F1 Miami Grand Prix, said it was unclear whether Trump or other celebrities would attend the race for safety reasons. I didn’t.

“For security and privacy reasons, I cannot reveal the attendees,” Garfinkel said, according to USA Today. “We don’t talk about communicating with people, but I will say that we will not have fundraisers at our events.”
One of Trump’s supporters, Steve Witkoff, sold tickets to a suite at the Paddock Club for $250,000, with the intention of using the money to fund Trump’s 2024 campaign, before Trump arrived. A controversy arose. However, it was quickly dismissed by race officials and a letter was sent to Witkoff.
“Political campaigns have their positions, but they have no bearing on our elections,” the letter, published on social media, said. “We welcome you and your guests to attend our events and enjoy our suites.
