Trump and Vance to Attend Kennedy Center Musical Opening

According to sources, President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Second Lady Usha Vance are set to attend the opening night of the musical “Les Micerables” at the Kennedy Center next week.

This show, a long-standing favorite in Broadway and West End history, will debut on June 11th. The anticipation seems high, making this a notable event in the upcoming calendar.

The President is known for his enthusiastic performances of songs from “Les Micerables” at his rallies. “I enjoy singing and playing,” he shared in a recent conversation. “I think that’s fantastic – we might build on it.”

Richard Grenell, the Kennedy Center’s president, has emphasized a commitment to restoring the venue’s financial standing. “The Kennedy Center is coming back,” Trump stated, adding that it hadn’t been properly managed in the past but would be revitalized.

Grenell described “Les Micerables” as a remarkable hit, predicting a lively atmosphere for the opening night. He encouraged Republican attendance, saying, “Everyone is welcome.” The Kennedy Center plans to roll out the red carpet for the occasion, inviting select media members and encouraging attendees to relish the experience.

In the first two weeks alone, ticket sales have surged beyond expectations, pulling in more than $3 million at the box office. “We anticipate sales to exceed all estimates,” a spokesperson for the center remarked.

Beneath the surface, there’s talk about a potential rebranding of the Kennedy Center in honor of Trump. The current leadership is also working on improving affiliations to ensure sustainable growth moving forward.
