Donna Kelce shows off message son Travis wrote on her jersey before first game

Donna Kelsey has always arrived to Kansas City Chiefs games in style for her son, star tight end Travis Kelsey.

Before the Chiefs took on the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL season opener on Thursday night, “Mama Kelsey” showed off the No. 87 Chiefs jersey he's wearing at Arrowhead Stadium, which included a special message from her son.

“I love you, Mommy!” The message was written on the back of the jersey, along with his son's signature.

Over the tracksuit, Donna also wore a custom denim jacket with her last name on it.

This will be Travis' 12th season in the NFL, all with the Chiefs. His older brother, Jason Kelce, retired from the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason.

Taylor Swift arrives at Chiefs vs Ravens Week 1 opener

When the Chiefs and Eagles face off in the 2023 Super Bowl with Kansas City winning, Donna will become the first mother to have both sons play in the same Super Bowl.

For that game, Donna wore a custom Chiefs-Eagles jersey with her son's colors and number, which is now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame along with custom Chiefs and Eagles sneakers.

Donna has been spotted hanging out in luxury suites at the stadium with her son's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, throughout the 2023 season, and that's expected to continue as the Chiefs try to win their third consecutive Super Bowl, a feat no other team has managed to achieve.

Travis finished the regular season mediocre by his standards, finishing with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2015. He caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

But it's the trophy at the end of the season that counts, and Travis was a big part of the Chiefs' Super Bowl run with impressive postseason wins over the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
