On CNBC's “Squawk Box” aired on Tuesday, Senator Frank Paron (D-NJ) said that if the current tax cuts expire, spending cuts aren't necessarily necessary, and that “we're better” I don't think so, but he said he wanted to, to see the middle class tax cuts.
Co-host Becky Quick asked, “How can I cut my spending?”
“Well, first of all, this is all going on. These Medicaid cuts are being proposed for the payment of Republican tax plans,” Palone said.
Then quickly cut and said, “It actually helps all Americans. And I know Democrats were also in favor of maintaining most of these tax cuts. I have no idea what the problem is. Looking at it, it's a matter of spending and tax. But if you go into the question about this, you need to cut your spending. How do you start with that?”
“I don't think you necessarily need to cut your spending, right? And first of all, I don't think I agree with you, basically, I think the average person benefits from this tax cut,” said Palone. I don't think I'll take it. Other things you should do –.”
Then, immediately cut and follow up. [years ago]? They will expire and most Americans will pay more taxes. ”
“They would be much more favorable to all of these reductions than to destroy Medicaid and destroy our healthcare system. A few years ago. Yeah, it would be better if they had an expiration date.” .”
Palone wants to cut taxes for the middle class, but added that the middle class “has barely anything” from the Republican plan.
