Doocy Inquires if Karoline Leavitt Thinks Trump Is Concerned About the Standard of White House Medical Care Following Biden’s Diagnosis

Concerns Over Biden’s Health and Quality of Care

During a press briefing, Fox News’ Peter Doocy inquired whether White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt had concerns about the medical care that President Biden is receiving. This comes on the heels of an announcement that former President Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

As a response to Doocy’s question about the quality of care Biden might receive, Leavitt expressed confidence in the medical team at the White House. She stated that former President Trump trusts the doctors and emphasized that they, as well as those at Walter Reed Medical Center, are exceptional. She noted that Trump maintains good health.

Doocy’s inquiry was focused on whether there was any anxiety regarding the possibility that early signs of Biden’s prostate cancer might have been overlooked by White House doctors. Leavitt assured him that there are no concerns in that regard.

Healthcare professionals, including oncologist Ezekiel Emanuel, have suggested that Biden may have been dealing with prostate cancer for many years, possibly even a decade. On a recent segment, Emanuel remarked that it’s quite concerning to think the former president may have had this condition while in office.

Dr. Marc Siegel, a senior medical analyst at Fox News, expressed his surprise at Biden’s advanced condition, especially considering he was expected to receive top-notch healthcare.

On the other hand, Trump’s doctor highlighted that the former president is in excellent cognitive and physical health. Following a physical exam, Trump was noted to have a healthy weight, normal blood pressure, and performed well on cognitive tests.

Biden’s health has come under scrutiny throughout his presidency due to various falls and moments when he seemed disoriented. A forthcoming book titled “Original Sin,” co-authored by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, sheds light on Biden’s deteriorating health.

There has been consistent pushback from White House aides and media regarding Biden’s health issues, attributing his previous falls to an injury from 2020. However, it was reported that the injury had healed, raising questions about his current well-being.

As Biden’s team works to minimize the risks of further incidents, there appears to be reluctance to provide him a wheelchair, possibly due to concerns about the political implications. Comparatively, Biden has held fewer press conferences than past presidents such as Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, who were known for avoiding media inquiries.

Opinions regarding Biden’s health often contrast, with some suggesting that age alone contributes to his challenges. Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara, referred to Biden as being affected by cognitive decline.
