Horrifying footage captured by a doorbell camera shows a terrified woman screaming for help before being dragged away by a man in front of a home in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The Hillsboro Police Department released images from a Blink recording device of the incident, which occurred Sunday at a residence at Southeast 32nd Avenue and East Main Street around 10:45 p.m.
The video shows a woman wearing glasses running to the door screaming for help, and a bearded man wearing black pants grabbing her and dragging her into a truck.
“Please help me!” she cries.
The homeowner said he did not hear the woman screaming, but did hear a knock on the door. She went to check on her and there was nothing outside, she said. But after checking her doorbell camera, she immediately called the police.
Police initially said they were investigating the incident as a “possible kidnapping.” The two reportedly left in a white pickup truck.
Police announced that with the help of the community, they were able to identify the suspect. arrested to him early Tuesday morning. They also confirmed the identity of the victim and that the woman was found safe.
Police said the incident was a domestic dispute and there was no threat to the public.

“He looked scared,” the woman said. “You could tell by her voice that she was desperate and needed her help. The way she was holding onto the door in her video doesn’t seem normal.”
Police have not released the names of the victim or suspect, only confirming that a man has been charged with kidnapping.
