Dorit Kemsley has opened up about the troubles she and her husband Paul “PK” Kemsley have had to overcome in their marriage.
On Part 2 of Wednesday’s season 13 “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion, Dorit admitted that alcohol played a big role in their struggles.
“After finishing the wrapping, [filming], the situation got worse and worse,” said the mother of two. “And he and I were in probably the worst situation ever.”
Their relationship hit some issues due to PK’s frequent travel and Dorit’s PTSD following an armed home invasion in 2021.
For a while, the two disagreed, and PK even stayed in a hotel while their relationship navigated uncharted territory.
“PK drank a lot and is a big drinker,” the Bravolebrity explained. “I think it’s very difficult for him to have a clear conversation when he’s drinking this much, so he stopped drinking,” she said, adding that at the time of filming, PK was ” He added that he had been sober for 49 days.
Dorit said the two are currently “working on things” and PK is “doing better than ever.”
“That was a very important moment, so things are going in the best possible direction,” she added.
Despite this, PK was spotted without his wedding ring while grabbing a bite to eat with author Sadie Turner in Los Angeles.
The couple have previously worked through some of their marital woes in front of the cameras, but he was away in London for most of the season, 39 days.

The couple, who married in 2015, at one point had a discussion with her therapist and argued about the “severity” of her PTSD.
PK went on to call her “controlling” and claimed that Dorit has become “harsher” and “mean” towards her in recent years.
Dorit admitted to Page Six in November 2023 that she felt “disconnected” from PK, but later wondered “what the future holds” if he wasn’t “there for me.” It showed.
Shortly after the latest season of RHOBH began airing, the couple had to publicly deny their separation as rumors started circulating online.
