Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) was misidentified as the infamous sex trafficker in an effort to discredit EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, leading to a curious response from Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, a neurosurgeon in New York.
“Maybe we should give some money to Jasmine Crockett and highlight that she also received funds from Jeffrey Epstein,” a Long Island doctor mentioned recently.
Crockett had previously claimed on the House floor, “I’m going to expose everything,” revealing that “a person named Jeffrey Epstein” had made a donation to Zeldin during his tenure as a Republican congressman in New York.
This $1,000 contribution in 2020 surprisingly occurred long after the financier had passed away in a Manhattan jail the previous year.
Interestingly, the donation actually originated from a surgeon.
“This issue only arose after she made a statement,” Epstein remarked when asked about any mix-up regarding his name. “Just so you know, that’s my name.”
As reported by Breitbart News, Crockett expertly clarified the misleading claims against the EPA head during a CNN appearance.
She asserted she never meant to directly link Zeldin to the notorious Epstein, pointing out to host Kaitlyn Collins that she had referred to him as “someone named Jeffrey Epstein.”
She stated that she “specifically said this” because her “team” had looked it up. “Unlike them, I don’t just lie,” she added.
“I never claimed that ‘this is Jeffrey Epstein,'” she told Collins when pressed on her earlier comments. “I want people to know that when you donate, your photo isn’t attached.”
Zeldin responded to Crockett on Wednesday with a post on X, which also shared clips from his CNN appearance.
“When you realize you’re in a hole, it’s best to stop digging,” he advised.
