Drake Maye and Wife Escape to Paradise After Super Bowl Loss
After a tough 29-13 defeat to Seattle in the 2026 Super Bowl, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and his wife, Ann Michael, have taken some time off to relax in a sunny getaway. As a blizzard hit the east coast this week, the couple has been enjoying a resort with beautiful ocean views, as shown in Ann Michael’s social media posts.
In one snapshot, she playfully captioned it “Alohaaaaaa,” hinting that they might be soaking up the sun in Hawaii.
In the photos, Ann Michael donned a colorful purple Hawaiian lei, while the two-time Pro Bowler wore a Kukui nut lei. Another TikTok video showcased her in an eye-catching green dress from Show Me Your Moom, taking in the stunning views from their balcony.
This year has certainly been a rollercoaster for the couple. Maye, picked third overall by the Patriots in 2024, quickly won over fans by leading the team to a strong 14-3 record in coach Mike Vrabel’s inaugural year, bouncing back from a dismal 4-13 season just before that.
Despite the loss in the Super Bowl—where Maye suffered a shoulder injury—he had a challenging game, marked by two interceptions, six sacks, and a fumble.
Reflecting on their experiences, Maye expressed his intention to take the lessons learned into future seasons with the Patriots. Ann Michael echoed those sentiments in one of her Instagram posts, stating they were grateful for “this amazing season,” even if it didn’t conclude as planned. She shared a memorable photo from the 2025 season, expressing thanks for the supportive people around them and hinting that this is only the beginning of their journey.
Ann Michael gained recognition in New England through a viral TikTok and became quite the presence on social media during last season, especially while Maye was in the MVP conversations.
Their relationship has deep roots, having been childhood sweethearts. They announced their engagement in January 2025 and tied the knot the following summer.
