While addressing reporters inside the Giants' locker room on Wednesday, Lock looked at the depth chart and if DeVito was previously listed as the No. 2 quarterback, he would be named the starter for Sunday's game against the Giants. “Drew will be our backup. We'll continue to work with him. He's been nothing but a professional, and so has Daniel. It's never easy to have conversations with players, but this is a necessary move for us. Daboll said Wednesday that the team will make a final decision on whether Jones will serve as the emergency third quarterback by Friday.

Jones has thrown eight touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. He is 3-13 in his last 16 starts, ranking New York last in the league and averaging 15.6 points per game.
