Drone sightings have recently been reported on Staten Island.
“We have recently become aware of large military drones flying over parts of New Jersey over the past several weeks,” Borough President Vito Fossella said in a letter to the FBI and FAA. “It has also been brought to our attention by concerned residents and the media that these drones have been flying over Staten Island for the past several days.”
Fossella also called it “strange and very strange” that it remains unclear “who is flying these drones, where they are coming from and their purpose.”
