E. Jean Carroll invited MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow to go on a grand shopping spree with former President Trump’s money, and her lawyer seemed nervous during an on-air exchange Monday.

“Yes, Rachel! Yes!” Carol answered eagerly. “I had a really great idea of what good we could do with this money.”

When Maddow chuckled at Carol’s suggestion, Crowley awkwardly laughed and said, “I’m just kidding.”
“However, if I were fishing in France, I might be able to do something for women’s rights. I would take a shot. I would take a shot for my team.” joked Maddow.

In another interview on ABC Monday, Carroll said she plans to use the money for things that President Trump “doesn’t like.” When she saw Trump in court, she said, she didn’t find him intimidating, calling him “just a man in a suit.”
Carroll added during the interview that he has “been beyond me” and will now fight Trump on policies such as Supreme Court nominations.
“Right now it’s about fighting for all women. We are fighting too, and we honor the women and men who have been assaulted and have not survived. I’m doing it for.’ That’s not really my problem anymore. We’ve moved beyond me,” Carol said. “And as you say, this fight right now is really about taking back our future. This is the man who defeated the Supreme Court and took away women’s rights to their own bodies. We want to be part of the spotlight and take back our rights. ”

Carroll sued Trump for defamation in 2019 over comments he made in which he strongly denied rape allegations.
A federal jury in New York City ruled last year that Trump was not responsible for rape but was responsible for sexual abuse and defamation. The former president was ordered to pay $5 million in that case.
