The European Union is considering imposing travel restrictions on Tucker Carlson over his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On Wednesday, Gai Verhofstadt, a former Bulgarian prime minister and current member of the EU parliament, called on the EU to impose a travel ban and open an investigation into Karlsson.
He called Carlson a spokesperson for President Trump and accused him of aiding and abetting Putin, whom he described as a war criminal.
But Karlsson stressed that he was not trying to support pro-Putin propaganda. The journalist added that he wants Americans to see all sides of the conflict.
The Kremlin said the interview with Putin has already been filmed, but Karlsson has not yet uploaded it.
Free speech advocates have slammed Carlson’s interview, saying it could expose Americans to information not authorized by the U.S. government.
