“He's a little frustrated. We obviously didn't see much of him today,” Fox broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt said on the air. “He's going to read a little passage here.”

Color commentator and former NFL great Tom Brady chimed in, joking that it's rare to see people reading on the sideline.

“I haven't seen many people read books, but I've seen quarterbacks eat hot dogs,” Brady joked.

The hot dog comment was in reference to Mark Sanchez, who was still with the Jets in 2009, when he was seen eating a hot dog on the bench during a game.

Brown was asked after the game about his literary choices and explained that it's the book he brings to every game.
