New Orleans – He doesn't own anything that his Eagles teammates don't own.
“I got two. They're in the bank's safe deposit box,” Darian Kinnard told the Post. “I wore them for the event when I was there, but since I left, I haven't worn them.”
All he has is two Super Bowl rings, which has bought him time with the Chiefs as a backup offensive lineman and practice team player for the past two years.
It's not a good shape to wear them around his new team.
The rematch came on Sunday at Super Bowl 2025 inside the Caesars Superdome, not after the Eagles lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl two years ago.
“I think if I go three years, two rings, and maybe a third, I can say I'm a bit spoiled,” Kinnard said. “That's pretty exciting. On Sunday, we'll figure out which side gets a third.”
While this isn't a double agent deal, the Kentucky Chiefs' fifth pick in 2022, Kinnard is just as close to Kansas City insiders as the Eagles' locker room.
“Some of the insights I gained were against the 'D' line, and two training camps were [Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve] Spagnuolo, just a little bit of that,” Kinnard said. “A lot of insights you can see on tape. There were a lot of coaches breaking down the film. If they want to get insight into the player's perspective of things, I might be able to give them a bit of an edge in that. Hmm. I'm excited about the matchups and I can't wait for it.”
Kinnard, 25, played only three games in his NFL career. One with the Chiefs in 2022, and two games this season with the Eagles.
He was inactive in 14 games in 2024, reaching the field with just three snaps before the regular season finale. giant.
The two Super Bowl teams share common traits, says the players who spent time with both.
“I think both teams are very buttoned and very professional about what they do and what they need to achieve,” Kinnard said. “There are small differences in how each team's process looks like.”
Kinnard has been barely noticed during the last week of media sessions.
His relationship with the chief was not a topic of discussion.

Nor did they have any unexpected family connections.
He is a distant relative of country music legend Dolly Parton.
His aunt Ginger is Parton's first cousin. They grew up on the same streets in Tennessee, and Kinnard spent most of his childhood.
Kinnard saw photos of her aunt and Parton together.
He has never met Parton and admits that he is not a fan of her music.
“I didn't know she was my third or fourth cousin until I was like 18, like I was 17,” Kinnard said. “Cool talk. I was told they learned to drive together, so it's pretty cool.”
