The Los Angeles Police Department and FBI are investigating a grand theft that happened on Easter Sunday, ABC 7 reported Thursday.

“It’s just amazing that we never suspected this,” said an anonymous employee at the facility. Said ABC 7. “Thirty million people in the Valley disappeared. How? Why? Still processing. Was it an inside job? Was it just one person? Was it a group? You know, a lot of questions. there is.”
Tens of millions of dollars were stolen from a secure currency storage facility in Sylmar.
No alarm sounded.

According to ABC 7, the entire grand theft occurred without a single alarm being raised, and officials with knowledge of the ongoing investigation say the company did not discover what happened until Monday. The thieves appeared to have entered the building from the roof. The outlet reported.
No arrests or suspects named, CBS News report. The robbery was the second in about two years after $100 million worth of jewelry was stolen from a semi-truck in California, the paper said. According to the report, the investigation into the theft is still ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
