Eight armed jewelry store robbers fled Von Jewelry in Oakland on Wednesday after the 76-year-old store owner came out from the back of the store with a shotgun.
ABC7 report The attempted robbery occurred in broad daylight around 12:30 p.m.
Huon Jewelry is a family business, and his 69-year-old mother was working there at the time of the alleged robbery.
ABC 7 reports, “Surveillance footage shows his 69-year-old mother, Diane, crouching down and pleading for help as eight people break up nearly the entire incident and ransack the store.”A security guard at the time There was no one on duty, so Diane’s 76-year-old husband burst in with a gun and scared the suspects away.
