Teacher Under Investigation After Disturbing Allegations
An elementary school teacher in Long Island is facing scrutiny following an arrest related to allegations of sexting a 13-year-old girl and soliciting explicit photos. This incident occurred at Wading River Elementary School, where the teacher, whose identity hasn’t been disclosed, was suspended after the claims came to light.
The arrest reportedly took place during a sting operation organized by the vigilante group Predator Poachers, known for targeting such misconduct.
The group claims that the teacher was caught on camera making inappropriate remarks and even attempted to teach the girl about masturbation through a “decoy account,” which was accessed by another individual.
Local police in Suffolk County have confirmed they are looking into the situation but haven’t released more specific details regarding the ongoing investigation.
The school district acted quickly, suspending the teacher and preventing him from accessing school property during the inquiry. Gerald W. Poole from the Shoreham-Wading River Central School District addressed parents in a letter, expressing concern over the disturbing comments reportedly shared on a live-streaming platform.
He added that the Riverhead Police Department is fully aware of the situation and is collaborating with the school district as the investigation unfolds.
At this point, additional information remains scarce.
