Elon Musk donates ‘very substantial’ amount to PAC to canvass Hispanic voters

Tech billionaire Elon Musk secretly donated a “very large” amount of his personal funds directly to a PAC recruiting Hispanic voters ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Fox News has learned.

Musk donated to a PAC called the League of Hispanic Voters. The group is recruiting voters in Arizona, California and Oregon to help swing the Republican ticket.

Fox News has also learned that the latest FEC filings for the League of Hispanic Voters will be released Thursday, revealing the extent of Musk's financial support. The contributions to Mr. Musk's PAC were made directly by Mr. Musk and not through his PAC or organization. The PAC has used its money in recent weeks to turn out Republican votes among Hispanics.

The PAC is aligned with Republican Rep. Tony Gonzalez of Texas. Mr. Gonzalez hosted Mr. Musk last year when the billionaire visited the Texas border in Eagle Pass, Texas.
