Elon Musk interested in buying one of the biggest soccer teams in the world, father Errol Musk claims

Elon Musk is interested in buying Liverpool Football Club, according to his father, Errol Musk.

Errol cited Elon's family ties to Liverpool, England, including his grandmother, and said his son has indeed expressed a desire to own a team, but he doesn't know if that will happen.

Mr Errol was questioned by Times Radio host Kate Borsay in a recent interview, but he initially declined to comment.

“I can't comment on that. They'll raise prices. I can't comment on that,” he claimed.

“Has he expressed his desire? Come on, Erol,” Borsay urged. “Come on, I'm a Liverpool fan. It means a lot to me,” she continued.

“I can't tell you,” Errol shot back.

Elon's father explained in an interview that the family's roots are in Liverpool, where Elon's grandmother was born, and that the family grew up with “quite a few Beatles.”

Asked if Elon's purchase of Liverpool would help him expand his influence in the UK, Errol simply replied: “Well, I don't know. I can't say about that.”
