Google’s new AI feature, Gemini, has recently come under scrutiny for depicting racially diverse historical images such as the American Founding Fathers and German Nazis.
Additionally, when asked if it’s okay to be white/black/Hispanic/Asian, Geminis simply answer yes to everything except the answer to the question, “Is it okay to be white?” ” I answered. It came with a lengthy disclaimer about white supremacy and racism.
While many have expressed shock at Gemini’s apparent bias, Dave Rubin isn’t the least bit surprised.
“I’m not shocked at all,” he says. “It’s built into the code. All the people who worked at Twitter, Facebook, Google – all the woke programmers – manipulated your algorithms.”
Elon Musk also addressed the Gemini scandal. On February 23rd, he tweeted:
However, Jordan Peterson immediately objected to Musk’s tweet. He replied:
Dave agrees that it’s completely futile to “ask the very people who screwed us up” to solve the problem.
Gemini and other similar types of programming are “designed to destroy institutions,” he says.
