Elon Musk shares alleged drug test results to show he’s not under the influence: 'lol'

Elon Musk recently shared what appeared to be his urine test results on Tuesday, addressing rumors about his drug use. This came in response to critics who suggested he may be hiding something.

The tests conducted last Tuesday indicated no positive results for over two dozen drugs, including ecstasy and ketamine, which some media outlets had suggested he was using.

Musk made a light-hearted post on X, sharing a photo of the results around 3:44 a.m.

Typically, urine tests can only detect drugs for a few days after use, but the results he shared showed normal creatinine levels, indicating the sample was reliable.

Despite the tests, he has faced accusations of being a drug user, particularly from a recent article in the New York Times claiming he had used substances during his 2024 campaign.

Claims included that he took drugs like ecstasy and ketamine, sometimes traveling with a large supply. Musk himself has acknowledged using small amounts of ketamine in the past for mental health reasons, but he denies using other addictive drugs.

In a previous report, Musk was noted for having caused concerns among board members at Tesla due to his use of Ambien, a sleeping pill. Speculation about his behavior likely fueled these concerns, especially given his unpredictable mood swings.

Earlier this month, Musk made headlines for incidents involving President Trump, including a heated post that he later deleted. He implied during a different discussion that Trump might not be able to win the upcoming 2024 election without significant financial backing.

Trump had expressed worries about Musk, mentioning drug addiction publicly but refraining from making strong accusations.

Musk later reflected on his comments, suggesting that he regretted some of his statements regarding the president. His complex feelings come amid reports hinting at his tumultuous mental state, likening his thought process to a “storm.” It’s a lot to process, I suppose.
