Elon Musk has made his position on DEI clear through X (formerly Twitter).
In the quoted tweet, Musk wrote, “DEI is just another word for racism.”
In another tweet, he wrote, “The race-based discrimination practiced by DEI is the literal definition of racism.”
Dave Rubin agreed with Musk, saying: There is no such thing as reverse racism. If you don't like white people or he won't hire white people in the name of DEI, you're a racist. ”
But Rubin and Musk's common sense seems to be less common.
Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, tweeted a condescending essay about Elon.
“Let me help you and share my thoughts on DEI,” Cuban began, adding, “It’s no surprise that people of different races, ethnicities, orientations, etc. are constantly excluded from hiring consideration. I think it's about that,” he added.
Cuban explained that by expanding the search to include people who are “excluded,” “we can find more eligible people.”
He also told Musk that “having a diverse workforce” is “good for business.”
Cuban's tweet is divided into five paragraphs, each explaining why DEI is good for business.
“That's the reaction of a liberal college girl,” Rubin said, adding that while Elon wrote two concise sentences on the subject, Cuban wrote an endless uninteresting story devoid of any real meaning. It pointed out.
“No one else uses DEI the way he pretends to define it,” Rubin said, adding that Musk “nailed” his response to Cuba. added.
“Okay, so when will we see a short white/Asian woman join the Mavs?” Musk wrote.
