Elvis Presley’s iconic Graceland to be auctioned amid foreclosure, granddaughter Riley Keough ‘traumatized’

Elvis Presley’s legendary Graceland mansion is about to be sold at Thursday’s foreclosure auction, sparking a dramatic legal battle with his granddaughter Riley Keough, who called the pending sale “fraudulent.” Happened.

A notice from the Shelby County Courthouse states that Graceland and surrounding properties in Memphis, Tennessee, will be auctioned off to the highest cash bidder on May 23. WREG-TV News report.

The property’s current owner, Ms. Keogh, 34, the granddaughter of the King of Rock and Roll, is fiercely contesting the sale. She filed a lawsuit alleging the auction was a sham, and her lawyers obtained a temporary restraining order on Monday.

A preliminary injunction hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.

A source told the Post that Keogh was “heartbroken” by the incident and “never thought a historic property would end up in the hands of strangers.”

The drama stems from a 2018 deed of trust that Riley’s late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, allegedly signed to secure a $3.8 million loan with Graceland as collateral.

The loan was allegedly made through Nowsunny Investments and Private Lending, a Missouri-based company. The company claims that Lisa Marie, who died last year at the age of 54, defaulted on the loan.

But Keogh’s lawsuit, filed May 15 in Shelby County Court of Chancery, claims that Lisa Marie never owed any money from Nowsany.

“These documents are fraudulent,” the lawsuit declares, alleging that Lisa Marie’s signature was forged and that Nowsany Investments is not even a legitimate company. Additionally, the notary named in the document denies ever notarizing Lisa Marie’s signature or meeting with her.
