Speaking of her career in Hollywood, Emma Roberts She claims she lost her job due to something beyond her control.
In a new interview FlauntThe Scream Queens actress, whose father is actor Eric Roberts and whose aunt is Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts, spoke about the pros and cons of having a famous family and explained how it has affected her acting career.
“I’ve lost more jobs than I’ve gained because of being in this industry,” Roberts said. “People have opinions, and sometimes they’re not good opinions of their families. I’ve never gotten a job because of it, but I’ve definitely lost a few jobs because of it.”

One of her “greatest heartbreaks” came when she was just nine years old and missed out on the role of Wendy in the 2003 film Peter Pan.
“I was pretty close. I had a British accent,” she said recently. variety“I was very impressed with myself, but I didn’t get the role.”

“The first one I missed out on was I Am Sam, which deservedly went to the amazing Dakota Fanning,” she added. “I was close, but my reaction was, ‘Oh, she’s a little older,’ and I was nine years old. And when they say I’m nine years old, I’m like, ‘I’ve got a thick skin. That’s where I grew up.'”

“When I’m alone on location, I watch her movies,” she added, referring to some of Julia’s classics. “I download her movies onto my computer and watch them to unwind.” ‘“My Best Friend’s Wedding and America’s Sweethearts are films that I find comforting.”
