End Federal District Courts’ Ability to Issue Nationwide Injunctions

On FNC's “Ingraham Angle,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) called on his Capitol Hill colleagues to launch a moratorium on the ability of judges in lower federal courts to issue national injunctions.

“[W]E has experienced various cases today, one in the Maryland district judge, one in the DC district judge and one in the Democratic appointee on military transgender issues,” said host Laura Ingraham. So my question to you is that you have laws in a work that can address some of the issues that plague this administration as it emerges from the Activist Court on activist agendas. ”

“Absolutely,” replied Holy. “What's important to do here is to end the ability of these district courts to abuse the jurisdiction by issuing so-called national injunctions. Laura, I don't think they'll properly speak what they're doing under Article 3 of the Constitution. There's one Supreme Court that can tie the whole country.”

He continued, “The district courts cannot do that, but President Trump has already been exposed to 15 separate so-called national injunctions. In his first term, Laura, 64, was 64. We have never seen anything like this in American history.
