Whether it’s his own reality or that of his famous “Entourage” character, Vincent Chase, Hollywood star Adrian Grenier has spent more than enough time in the spotlight.
Grenier, 47, left California for Texas a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
“I was flying high for years. 20 years in Hollywood, growing up in New York,” he said on Today with Hoda & Jenna, adding, “Now I’m living a more grounded lifestyle. I’m sending it,” he added.
He and his wife, Jordan Roenmele, moved to their home outside of Austin, Texas, in 2020 after deciding their priorities in life had changed.

Last year, the “The Devil Wears Prada” actor spoke passionately about Texas to People magazine, sharing what he found so fascinating about life in the South. “I really liked the homely atmosphere. It’s very cosmopolitan, but without any frills or pretentiousness,” he said.
“There aren’t many people who rise socially or have positions,” he added. “Everyone’s wearing cowboy boots and cowboy hats, so to speak. In the city, I always felt a little bit like I had to keep up with the Joneses. And here, I feel like there’s a lot of acceptance. Especially in the area where I live, a lot of my friends are farmers and home growers, they’re very friendly, they’re not afraid to work hard all day long, they’re salt of the earth, they’re very loving people.”

Although Grenier has left California, he hasn’t completely closed the door on Hollywood.
He is now more selective about his roles, saying that if he is not proud of himself, the job is not worth it. “I want my kids to see everything I do and make their dad proud,” he told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
