Haley Robson, a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse, expressed concerns that President Trump would make a “big mistake” if he were to grant a pardon to Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker associated with Epstein.
Robson stated, “I don’t think Ghislaine has anything worthwhile to say. It’s all nonsense and, frankly, quite illicit. Her attempt is a big blunder,” as she shared in an interview with CNN earlier this week.
In a recent conversation with Newsmax, Trump mentioned that he hadn’t been approached regarding Maxwell’s pardon; she is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in sex trafficking.
When asked about his stance on Maxwell, a British socialite who was close to Epstein, Trump responded, “I’m allowed to consider it, but no one has asked me to act on it.”
Robson recounted meeting Epstein and Maxwell when she was just 16, introduced to them by friends in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2002. She was coerced into giving Epstein a massage, during which he began to masturbate in front of her. Though uncomfortable, she was faced with an offer of $200 for each girl she could bring into the fold.
“At that moment, I was just trying to survive and get out of that situation; I had no idea what would happen next,” Robson reflected, noting that she had introduced girls to Epstein for about two years.
Recently, Maxwell was moved from a federal prison in Florida to a correctional camp in Texas, coinciding with her legal team’s petition to the Supreme Court regarding her case.
Her transfer has drawn scrutiny from House Judiciary Democrats, who suggested that it raised significant concerns about Trump’s ties to Epstein, creating a perception that something more sinister was afoot.
