Eric Adams accuser details alleged sexual assault in new suit

The sexual assault accuser of New York City Mayor Eric Adams said in new court papers Monday that Hizoner solicited sexual favors from her in 1993, when she was a police officer, in exchange for helping her career. He detailed the suspicions he was seeking.

Lorna Beach-Matula claimed she asked Adams for help. She said Adams was denied promotion as a black woman in the NYPD because she was a leader in the New York City Transit Authority Guardians Association, which fought for the rights of black employees.

“Defendant Adams exploited Plaintiff’s vulnerabilities, demanded sexual favors in return, sexually assaulted Plaintiff, and demonstrated that he was not the ‘protector’ Plaintiff claimed to be, but a predator. ,” the lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court charges. .

Beech-Matura alleges that Adams “drove her to a vacant lot and made demands.”[ed] She asked him to perform oral sex on her, and when she refused, he placed her hand on his “erect penis,” the filing alleges.

The papers allege that when he took her hand, Adams “masturbated” and “ejaculated into her.”

Adams denied Beech-Maslua’s existence and denied that the incident occurred when the woman first filed a subpoena in November.

“That never happened. That’s not me. That’s not me in my professional life. That never happened,” he said at the time.
