Eric Trump claims Jen Psaki and MS NOW are spreading ‘obvious falsehoods’ about his China trip – announces he is suing them both

Eric Trump Plans Legal Action Against Jen Psaki and MS Now

Eric Trump revealed on Friday his intention to sue MS Now and host Jen Psaki over claims that he is involved with companies aiming to expand into China.

Psaki, the former White House press secretary, made these comments during her show, “The Briefing with Jen Psaki.” She suggested that Eric Trump would accompany his father on a significant trip to China to advance business interests.

In response, Eric Trump firmly stated, “This is a blatant lie: I have never been on the board of ALT5, not now or ever.” He expressed his disbelief on social media, urging anyone to verify his claims through online resources or company reports.

He added, “I am not involved in any merger talks with public companies that I don’t run. I have no business interests in China—no real estate, no investments, nothing!” His motives, he claimed, were purely personal, stating, “I took this trip as a loving son who adores my father and simply wants to be by his side in this great moment.”

Interestingly, during a Wednesday segment, Psaki mentioned that Eric Trump’s spokesperson indicated he would be joining his father in a personal capacity, without any involvement in discussions or business dealings in China.

However, Psaki argued that Eric is affiliated with a company called Alt5 Sigma. She referenced a Financial Times article that mentioned the company has agreements in place to explore potential collaborations with Chinese chip manufacturers for AI data centers, among other projects.

Yet, a report from the Financial Times and information from the SEC indicated that Eric Trump is merely an “observer” on the board, not an active member.

Psaki contended that Eric’s presence on such a trip could pose a conflict of interest.

As for Eric Trump and his wife Lara, they shared that they visited the Great Wall of China while President Trump held discussions with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and his team.

He hinted at more developments to come, implying that this story isn’t over yet.
