Erica Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, has responded to conspiracy theorists making unfounded claims regarding her husband’s assassination. During an appearance on “Outnumbered,” she expressed her desire to create a beautiful memorial for Charlie at Turning Point USA, emphasizing the need for a sacred space for her family. “Can I just ask for this one thing? A place for my kids and me, a place where my husband can rest peacefully,” she pleaded.
Kirk pointed out that, despite any noise from conspiracy theories, nothing has been taken from her. She told Fox News’ Harris Faulkner that she’s focused on building a legacy for her husband rather than engaging with detractors. “We’re all grieving differently, and I get that. We’re seeking answers for something so evil,” she said, asserting that her team is working diligently with authorities to ensure justice is served.
Kirk had a message for those spreading misinformation: “You can say what you want about me, but when you target my family or the people I care about, that just crosses a line.” She expressed anger over the situation, remarking that it’s not healthy and feels like a “mind virus.” She affirmed her belief in the justice system while highlighting the significant pressure on her and her team following the tragedy.
She urged critics to recognize the impact of their words. “We’re human. My team is not just a group of machines going through the motions. They’ve faced real threats, and they’re feeling the strain,” Kirk explained. She conveyed her determination to confront these conspiracy theories head-on, reaffirming her commitment to her late husband’s legacy and stating emphatically, “I will never back down. So my message to them is, stop. Just stop.”
