On Thursday, Erin Andrews shared some incredibly sad news regarding her agent, who experienced a miscarriage.
During the latest episode of her “Calm Down” podcast, the Fox Sports reporter (47) became emotional while discussing how she and her husband, Jarret Stoll, have been coping. They had welcomed their son, Mac, in 2023 through a surrogate, and had hoped for a positive outcome with their second child on the way.
“Today brought some real sh. The news is that our agent had a miscarriage. I’ve touched on this before, but things really seemed to be going well. Her little heartbeat and numbers were looking good,” Andrews shared, reflecting on the situation.
Ware, a designer working with Andrews, remarked that it was challenging to stay focused while recording the podcast episode, filled in by producer Ryan Music for co-host Charissa Thompson.
“I’m trying to tear it apart and stay focused all the time,” she expressed. “But I manage to keep my feelings in check. The saddest part is dealing with this loss and feeling broken during this time.”
Andrews has been quite open about her struggles with fertility, and she emphasized that transparency is essential as they navigate this heartache.
“I promised myself to be candid about my infertility journey. We faced challenges with the first agent but found some luck with the second,” she said. “I chose to share this because you never know what someone else is going through. People experience losses far beyond what they’re showing, and honestly, it’s just tough.”
Andrews has repeatedly stressed the importance of discussing her life openly so that others facing similar issues know they’re not alone.
Andrews and Stoll, who is a two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Kings, have been married since 2017.
