“I think it was a mistake to keep Coach McCarthy. We'll see in a year. This is what's going to happen. The Cowboys are going to be a really good team next season. Everybody's like, 'Is this the time? ? Is this Dallas?' You'd say, 'Great opportunity?' And we'd probably all think, 'Oh, they're really good.' And they'll make the playoffs and lay eggs like they always do. ”
Orlovsky added that while he thinks McCarthy is a good coach, he doesn't feel like he's a good enough coach for Dallas to improve. super ball.

“We have an unbelievable fan base, and I think they're going to be frustrated,” McCarthy said, according to the Cowboys' website. “We feel very sorry for them and for their performance. But my message is this: We have established a championship program, but it is not a world championship yet. We will win. We know how to train to win.'' And we have the right people.
“We have to get over that threshold in a playoff game. It's very disappointing, but I know how to win and we'll get over that threshold. And that's why I'm standing here today. That’s why I’m here.”
