The Left’s Claims About Maga Supporters and Charlie Kirk
There’s a lot of noise going on. Some folks just don’t realize what’s on the horizon.
This narrative, pushed by certain groups in the media, academia, and parts of Hollywood, is something else. They’ve been quick to label a young man charged with a serious crime as a supporter of Donald Trump, painting this as some sort of political affirmation. But it’s just ridiculous—a clear attempt to smear someone who simply wished to engage in conversation.
I can’t say I’m surprised by the despair they express. They’ve never witnessed conservatives unite like this before. The shift in energy was palpable, especially after that chaotic Wednesday afternoon. I think they’re unnerved; perhaps they should be. There’s a desperation in their attempts to grasp onto anything, even nonsense, as they try to make sense of a situation that seems to be spiraling.
What surprises me is just how foolish this tactic seems. Do they really believe that the political preferences of those committing violent acts will dictate our responses?
I mean, let’s be honest here: it’s not about the political label of someone like Kirk’s alleged assassin. That has little bearing on how we respond to such an event. The reaction stems from our understanding of the situation—driven by a collective feeling of outrage.
What mobilizes people is their perception of the climate around them. We’re witnessing a broader community of professionals—teachers, lawyers, government workers—who seem to align themselves as they push their agendas. This isn’t an isolated event, and it’s not just about the internet.
It’s the media that stirs us into action. There’s an attempt to shield certain narratives, and instead of accountability, they seem more focused on protecting their own. Everything shifted on that Wednesday afternoon, and no amount of false narratives or calls for unity will reset that.
And the misleading stories they’ve been crafting for years? They’re just adding fuel to our fire.
So, in the end, there’s something to consider: we’re ever more resolved.
