Every Possibility Considered for Possible John Brennan Perjury

Jim Jordan Discusses Potential Issues with John Brennan’s Testimony

Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio and member of the House Judiciary Committee, indicated that “all options” could be considered following a report revealing possible perjury by former CIA director John Brennan regarding the CIA’s handling of Russian interference claims.

Jordan spoke with Breitbart News Editor Alex Marlow about this exclusive piece, which was detailed by Washington Director Matthew Boyle.

While reviewing the situation, Jordan cited a previous comment by Ratcliffe, who noted that the 2016 assessment was marred by unusual and corrupt practices under the leadership of former FBI Director Comey.

The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee praised the reporting, stating, “Great stories. I’ve read the stories. Good work you’re doing all the time.” He also mentioned concerns tied to Brennan’s prior testimonies, specifically about his statements made in 2017 and then again two years later during an investigation linked to Trump and conspiracy theories.

Jordan expressed that questions had arisen based on insights from Ratcliffe’s findings. He categorized the implications surrounding Brennan’s testimony as “troubling,” suggesting the intelligence community had previously avoided utilizing the information in FISA submissions related to the investigation into Trump’s campaign.

“A significant question is why the testimony presented to then-Chairman Gordy in 2017 did not involve any stakeholders,” Jordan argued. He pointed out that the assessments in question weren’t reflective of the entire intelligence community, which raised red flags regarding the investigation’s legitimacy.

As for the potential next steps concerning the CIA review, Marlow inquired what action the Judiciary Committee should consider. Jordan reiterated that “all options” are indeed on the table.

“We’re currently assessing all possibilities. The supervisor could forward this information to Attorney General Bondy, and we’re monitoring the situation closely,” he explained. He concluded, indicating anticipation regarding how Director Radcliffe and the Attorney General might choose to proceed.
